Position Summary
Five9, Inc. is seeking an Inside / Direct Sales Representative, who will be part of a dynamic sales organization and responsible for direct sales in an assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate new sales within assigned territory.
- Drive sales demand via lead follow up, cold calling and business planning
- Effectively identify, qualify, own, and manage sales pipeline
- Facilitate customer opportunity through all stages of the sales cycle to close
- Use CRM package (Salesforce.com) to input all data pertaining to a customer opportunity from initial contact to close
- Develop proficiency on all assigned Five9 service offerings and systems
- Consistently strive to meet or exceed established goals
- Portray a professional image in all communications
Minimum qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of sales/sales development experience in a high-tech environment
- Excellent telephone sales and presentation skills
- Demonstrated success in closing business over the phone
- Energetic, upbeat, tenacious, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience making a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

- Knowledge of Call Center Technology and Terms
- On Demand / Hosted Service offerings and VoIP
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com CRM
