System Requirements

Location

All users, whether managers, supervisors, administrators or agents, connect to the Five9 datacenter over the internet. Users can be located anywhere (in office buildings, in private homes, in the USA or overseas) from which they have fast, reliable internet service to our datacenter in Northern California.

 

Desktop

Each user must have his/her own computer and headset, and must be able to connect to the internet.

The following are the minimum requirements needed by each user to provide usable performance when the Five9 system is the only application running on his/her computer. More capacity may be required to run additional applications concurrently.

 

Computer

  • Windows PC
  • CPU Type = Pentium IV or greater (Intel and 100% compatible processors)
  • CPU Speed = 1500 MHz minimum, 2.4GHz recommended
  • RAM = 512MB minimum for Windows 2000 or XP, 1GB minimum for Windows Vista

Software

  • OS = Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2, or Vista
  • Java = Java Runtime Environment version 5.0 or 6.0
  • Web Browser = Internet Explorer 6 or later

Headset

  • USB phone headset with DSP

Internet Access

  • 64 kilobits per second (kbps) of internet bandwidth is recommended

Notes

  • Running with any CRM Integration (Salesforce, RightNow, NetSuite): Please add 256 MB of RAM to above recommendations.
  • Certain additional optional features may require Microsoft Office applications.
