Five9 Appoints James Doran as New Executive Vice President of Strategy and Operations

SAN RAMON, Calif. – Nov. 27, 2018 – Five9, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVN), a leading provider of cloud contact center software for the digital enterprise, today announced James Doran has joined the company as executive vice president of strategy and operations, effective immediately. In his new role, Doran will report directly to CEO Rowan Trollope and be responsible for corporate strategy, operational maturity, and helping Five9 with growth and scale.

Doran has over 20 years of experience in the cloud software industry for Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he was vice president of strategy and operations for Cisco’s Collaboration Division, where he led day-to-day business operations, strategy, alliances, M&A, offers, pricing, technical marketing and back office functions. Prior to Cisco, Doran spent a decade with Symantec in a variety of business leadership, marketing, sales and corporate roles. At Symantec he led the corporate Strategy & Planning group, the Strategic Marketing organization and was instrumental in the launch of several new businesses.
