New Executive VP

Successful marketing and SMB executive brings extensive industry experience with a focus on strategic planning, product and marketing strategy, and branding to provider of hosted contact center solutions.

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 6, 2005) — Five9, Inc., the leading provider of hosted contact center solutions, today announced the appointment of Cary F. Fulbright as Vice President of Marketing, reporting to President and CEO Brian Silverman. Fulbright will lead all of Five9's marketing and product management efforts including strategy, corporate marketing, lead generation, marketing communications, public relations, product marketing, and product management.

Prior to joining Five9, Fulbright held executive management positions with where he helped take the company public with a $1.3B valuation making it one of most successful IPO's of 2004, in addition to building the product, marketing, and sales organizations that grew revenue from $7M in 2000 to over $160M in 2004. Most recently at, he served as Senior Vice President of Planning and Operations and Chief Strategy Office where he was responsible for defining the company's strategy for entering the call center and customer service segment, including internal development requirements and partnerships, as well as driving consistent planning processes across the company. During his tenure with, Fulbright also held the positions of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Small Business Sales, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Products, and Vice President, Product Strategy.

Before, Fulbright was the Vice President of Product Marketing at ePeople, Inc. (formerly NoWonder, Inc.) where he was responsible for defining and leading the corporate business and product strategy. Previous to ePeople, Fulbright was the Director of Product Management for SAP Labs where he drove key new product initiatives, including their first internet product suite, first e-commerce offering, and SAP's CRM entry; and pioneered product management by recruiting a team of product managers to evolve the company's portfolio of products and projects. During his career, Fulbright has also held management positions at Autodesk, Inc., Software Publishing Corporation/Harvard Graphics and J. Walter Thompson Corporation. He holds an M.B.A from the University of California at Berkeley, a J.D from the Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. from the Georgetown University School of Service.
