Five9 Strengthens Leadership Team with the Addition of Industry Pro David Pickering as EVP of Engineering
SAN RAMON, Calif. – Dec. 17, 2018 – Five9, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVN), a leading provider of cloud contact center software for the digital enterprise, today announced that David Pickering has joined the company as executive vice president of engineering. In his role at Five9, Pickering will be responsible for all product and platform development, and Five9’s worldwide engineering teams.

Pickering comes to Five9 from Intuit, where he led engineering for QuickBooks Online (QBO) and launched the QuickBooks Accountant segment. As QBO’s product development leader he oversaw six years of exceptional growth, with SaaS growing 10x to more than 2.7 million small business subscribers. He previously led engineering for the SaaS Contact Center at Oracle, where he launched its enterprise call center and contact center suite. Pickering also led engineering for TapJoy, a successful targeted marketing and monetization platform for social and mobile developers.
