Congratulations Wendell Black! 2nd Consecutive Year Winning CRN’s Channel Chief Award

My colleague Wendell Black, VP Global Channel & International Business, Five9 has been recognized in this year’s CRN Channel Chief list for the second consecutive year. This award honors top channel executives, highlighting their accomplishments and dedication to the partner community. See the full list of Channel Chiefs here.
Wendell brings 25+ years of industry experience, with a history of growing companies. Since his last Channel Chief award, he has evolved his role expanding the Five9 global partner network to support business growth. Wendell’s top three accomplishments over the past year have included:
- Increasing number of channel partners
- Increasing revenue from partners
- Expanded programs into EMEA
“One of the biggest drivers aiding our expansion is the disruption in the historical partner relationships from companies in bankruptcy or acquisition transitions,” says Wendell Black, VP Global Channel & International Business. “These risks have motivated the partner community to build new relationships with proven technology providers like Five9. Coupled with this is the desire of end users to move to the cloud and adopt CCaaS options. The migration from CPE to cloud is therefore fueling partner’s interest in the solutions Five9 provides to meet end user objectives.”
