Some years can feel like an eternity, others go by in a blink of an eye. 2018 has felt like a bit of both.
A quick look back at the past 10+ months at Five9 feels like a blur, yet the milestones have piled up. We launched Five9 Genius, announced a new CEO, integrated with Google Cloud Contact Center AI, were named a Leader in the first Forrester Cloud Contact Center Wave and spoke at Dreamforce.
The latest in this wild year is a hardware announcement (no, we’re not launching a new product!): we’re bringing home the UC Award for “Best CX Solution.”
This is the inaugural year for the UC Awards, which acknowledge and celebrate some of the companies delivering the highest degree of innovation and development within the unified communications industry. Five9 was shortlisted alongside CX solutions providers Unify and Zailab.
All recognition of our team’s accomplishments is appreciated here, but this award is especially significant, as it recognizes work done in the UC space so near and dear to our hearts and sets us apart from our closest competitors. As the first award won since we launched our AI-powered Five9 Genius solution earlier this year, this UC Award is validation that we’re having a real impact in contact centers all over the world.
