Enterprise Connect Women in Communications Spotlight Award
Gail Mahan, Director, Call Center Planning & Technology, Guest Care, Alaska Airlines
Enterprise Connect strives to help cultivate the careers of women who work in enterprise communications/collaboration roles within the enterprise. The Spotlight Award program recognizes and celebrates “women who demonstrate outstanding qualities of leadership and expertise in technology” and who promote “innovative ideas and sound strategies that move their businesses -- and even industries -- forward.”
Gail Mahan exemplifies these qualities. Throughout Gail’s tenure at Alaska Airlines, she has promoted and encouraged women to excel within the contact center technology marketplace. The Alaska Airlines’ Call Center Technology Leadership Team is comprised mostly of women, and Gail has mentored, trained and coached many of these individuals. She has also participated in several Women in Technology panels and discussions, sharing her expertise and experience to inspire emerging industry leaders.
