Five9 to Acquire Inference Solutions

A letter from Inference Solutions CEO, Callan Schebella: 

I am happy to announce that Inference has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Five9, the leader in intelligent cloud contact center software. The acquisition, the largest in Five9's history, is an important milestone in our journey as a business, one that we believe will accelerate the adoption of conversational AI and intelligent automation.

When we first began developing speech-enabled self-service applications, we recognized the need for tools that would make it easier for businesses of all sizes to build and maintain these solutions. We also understood that service providers, along with the software platforms that support them, needed a solution that was designed to be easily integrated and resold. We envisioned a world where virtual agents would be widely adopted to improve customer experience, manage costs and improve compliance. We also wanted to build solutions that help businesses delight their customers while also improving the lives of their employees.

It is exciting for me to see this vision becoming a reality and to have helped so many organizations improve the way they serve their customers along the way. I’d like to thank all of our partners and customers for trusting Inference to power many of their most critical business operations.

I would also like to thank the Five9 team for sharing this vision and for their support as a partner. We look forward to combining forces to bring more value to businesses that need to deploy both automated and live agent service to their customers.

Their dedication and commitment have been nothing short of remarkable. Because they have operated so efficiently, growing the business as a lean and agile startup, we are able to return substantial value to our shareholders.

It has been an exciting journey, and we couldn’t be happier to discover what we can accomplish with our new Five9 family.
