Prior to Five9, Darryl worked at 8x8, Genesys, Intervoice, and Edify, in various roles including Solution Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Solution Engineering. Darryl specializes in vertical marketing, integrating data intelligently into service and sales environments, and learning about and solving the challenges enterprises face when building a differentiated customer experience.

Three is a magic number. You may have heard this from the Schoolhouse Rock tune from Bob Dorough, the jazz composer or the version from DeLaSoul that samples the same.

 

Many memorable moments are associated with the number three, representing true achievement, from a turkey in bowling, to book trilogies, to three-peat championships (Scott Byron fans give me a tweet!).

 

It’s possible you associate the power of three with science class when you learned the Earth is the third rock from the sun (or that show: Third Rock from the Sun), or you listened to the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears in school. Or maybe you think of the three stooges (I don’t, no tweets for the three stooges) or the Marx brothers (sorry Gummo and Zeppo) or the three musketeers.

 

The number three is very powerful to the human brain. We enjoy options and two is too little, four is too much. Three has the power.
