Kelli McMillan of Five9 Receives Alliance of Channel Women 2020 LEAD Award for Exceptional Female Tech Channel Leaders

We are proud to announce that Kelli McMillan, Five9 Channel Sales Manager, was awarded an Alliance of Channel Women 2020 LEAD Award recognizing exceptional female leaders in the tech channel. The fourth annual LEAD Award winners were honored at a ceremony during the ACWConnect Live! Virtual Event on September 17. 

“Alliance of Channel Women started the LEAD Awards four years ago as a way for our members to recognize the female channel leaders who we look to as role models and advocates for women in the channel,” said Michelle Kadlacek, Chair of the ACW Awards Committee and Vice President, Enterprise Channel Partner Program for Spectrum Enterprise. “Kelli was selected by the ACW Board of Directors as one of only four women to receive this award. She is in rare company and we are grateful for her continued inspiration and leadership.” 

Here at Five9, Kelli supports our partner community with building out their CCaaS practice with education and marketing resources! In addition to traveling the states touting her CCaaS wares, Kelli is a mother of 2 handsome boys, an avid runner and closet sneaker enthusiast. 

“Listening to others’ dreams and helping them come to fruition” is Kelli’s rendition of Muhammad Ali’s popular quote about how we render payment for our time here on earth. From grassroots collaborations, to banking to tech, curating meaningful relationships have always led her down the right path and has been somewhat of her life’s mission. Kelli’s vision for Xposure Inclusion and Diversity Council, a Business Resource Group that she founded, is to be a beacon in the tech services industry where individuals from all different backgrounds and cultures can collaborate! 

The 2020 ACW LEAD Award winners were chosen by the ACW Board of Directors from nominees submitted via online application between July 6 and August 7, 2020. Nominations came from third parties or candidates themselves. All applicants were required to demonstrate leadership and innovation in the channel as well as support, advocacy and mentorship of women in the channel. 

The ACW LEAD Award is presented annually to celebrate women who are courageous, creative, collaborative, connected and confident in advancing channel careers. It also seeks to inspire other channel women to follow their lead.
